Due to the landslide above the village of Zatolmin and the closed road to Polog, fishing on the upper Tolminka is PROHIBITED until further notice for safety reasons.
According to the announcements of the Municipality of Tolmin, the rehabilitation work will be completed at the beginning of June, after which, as in recent years, a special permit will have to be obtained to enter the valley by car.
Fishermen can currently fish from the confluence of the Soča and Tolminka to the dam in Tolmin (District 1), but due to the construction of a bridge over the Tolminka, fishing near the construction site is not recommended.
At the same time, we advise fishermen to be careful when entering the water on the river Soča due to grayling spawning areas
