In the lower part of the Bača river, work has begun in the area of catchment gravel pockets. Due to the extent of last year’s floods, when Bača suffered the most damage in our fishing area, the contractor will first repair the thresholds of the pockets and then empty them.
The vast majority of the work will take place on dry land, but from time to time it is still possible to expect murky water down to the confluence with the Idrijca river. Due to the scope of the work and the large amount of gravel, according to the contractor’s predictions, the intervention will take about a month.
